Coyotes win the pacific - bring it on Blackhawks

Continuation of playoffs thread.
http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=1102075

Coyotes win period, nothing matters.

Coyotes get 1 point and:

Sharks win period, nothing matters.
Kings win in SO, nothing matters.
Kings win in ROW, ruin our dreams.

LET'S HANG A BANNER IN OUR OWN RAFTERS!!!!!!!

Let's keep them separate. There's room in here to discuss other playoff matchups in addition to the Yotes opponent.

I'm impartial at this point. I just want the game to start already, I'm too excited at the possibility to win the division!

After the last two years and the Red Wing fans you faced at home- are Canuck/Blues/Blackhawk fans a superior alternative?

I never had any problems with those fans to be fair. Plus, its more about the team deserving better than to face someone like Detroit in the 1st round.

Blues would be the easiest to fill the arena with the most Coyote fans possible. *** ***** have a big following here in Arizona, as does Chicago. I don't care who the opponent is, I'd hope that we fill the arena and drown their fans out.

Datsuyk is the best player in the NHL. That move in the shootout was sick.

Hell yeah. If it is the blues we end up playing, there will be very few fans to deal with. The Hawks fans, in my experience, have always been mild. Canuck fans cheer a lot, but none are *******s like so many Wing fans are.

As far as who I want to play: I'll take the blues, and I'm not being a prisoner of the moment. I think we can take a best-of-seven against them more so than the Hawks or 'Nucks. While the blue are good, they don't have the dynamic talent that the Hawks and 'Nucks have. I think the teams with superstar talent have always been our weakness.

Datsyuk doesn't miss games with "cold-like symptoms" that are actually hangovers.

Funny that Pitt and Philly have a "meaningless" game today. Will be interesting to see if either side takes it easy or tries to send a message.

Vancouver will know before they take the ice whether they will have a chance to win the President's Trophy. If they don't, I could easily see them playing a let down game, even though they are playing for home ice through the first three rounds at least. I wouldn't be surprised to see St. Louis take the west after all.

We may not know our opponent until late.

Rangers are already down 2-0 just 3 minutes into the game.
