What Are You Looking Forward To For Next Season

Quick disclaimer; all positive talk. No talk about past free agent snubs or that stupid new arena nonsense. Just positive vibes and outlook for next year (ironic coming from me, I know)

I'll start;

I wanna see if Bailey's full time transition to wing allows for him to produce and play consistently.

I look forward to seeing Tavares become an even better player than he was this season.

I also look forward to see if this late season surge from Bailey and Okposo is no fluke.

I'm looking forward to the further evolution of John Tavares. While he may only be 'marginally talented' by all accounts, I'm going to enjoy seeing a souped up version of this year's JT. He's going to score 40+ next year with his newly turbo'd shot.

I'm also looking forward to watching Dumba play the 9-game stint and showing that he deserves to stay in the NHL only to be sent back to Red Deer making us all go 'WTF?'

One of Bridgeport's D (Donovan, Ness, de Haan) should make the team.
Develop Nino the right way in Bridgeport, Brock Nelson, Kirill Kabanov and hopefully Kirill Petrov coming.
Possibly John Persson and Brenden Kichton also turning pro.

Kevin Poulin and Anders Nilsson continuing to develop.

Good call mentioning Tavares shot. Like to see how much he can improve it.

That's the magic question now with him, it's the only real glaring weakness in his game now. You just know the rest of the game will be improved which is kind of scary, but from what we know of his will and desire... he'll be able to shoot the puck through brick walls next year.

The Dumba part is kind of fantasy though, you just KNOW the Isles will be drafting a forward with the 1st rounder.

I agree about Tavares, would also like to see Bailey & Okposo continue to improve. Also interested in seeing who on Bridgeport makes the team next year.

Probably right about a forward, but do you think Edmonton with take Dumba or Ryan Murray?

Definitely going to be Forsberg. I'm going to be so pissed.

But the idea of them sending the player down after doing well, I could totally see.

Hard to say, but I would think they'd like Murray. I know RNH and Dumba were teammates at Red Deer so that might have something to do with things. There was a rumor that they really like Reinhart and would trade down for him. Don't know how valid that is, but it is interesting.

I wouldn't be too pissed. It's the prototypical pick. He could be Perry-esque on JT's RW in a season or two (you just know Snow will promise him a job in the NHL after next year).

This would be a dream pairing. Galchenyuk (from last year's reports) shares similarities to JT in style so you know Yakupov would be dynamite with JT.

If the Isles do win the lotto, they'll take Grigorenko #1 and this board would explode!

I'm really interested in seeing how the game in Brooklyn turns out. I'm also looking forward to the question finally being answered of what happens after 2015. I'm looking forward to seeing the young players developing further. I'm looking forward to more GDT from Law.
