They are super comfy and versatile. I can just wear them casually, or even if I'm going somewhere nicer.

Currently these 3. Bought the Circa before I left for Japan in the Fall. Relatives bought the Nike and Addidas shoes in Japan for me. (Nike shoes, either they came out in Japan first or was only released in Japan. The Adidas shoes are some kind of David Beckham model.)

I got 2 pairs of timberland low cut hikers with softer soles. Kind of large and not pretty, but only thing I can wear regularly with my arch injury. Got both pairs on cheap as they were a men's that fit more like a women's. I have never before in my life worn a men's 9 until I had this shoe. Fits more like a women's 10(and even those are a tad roomy on me)

For casual whatever, Vans slip-ons:

For going out or just something that requires anything nicer I have:

Creative Recreation (Not these, but 90% similar)

Or these Fred Perry's, which I prefer

There's basically 3 types of shoes I buy regularly.

exercise/running/training: Asics or Mizuno, in the widest sizes I can get. Right now I'm using the Asics Gel-2150.

dress/work: whatever is black, slip-on, and fits well when I go shopping for them. Usually end up with something from Rockport or Aldo.

technical climbing footwear: Five Ten for rock shoes, Scarpa for boots. **** La Sportiva and their crappy-ass narrow footwear.

Any shoes I buy will also immediately get heat-molded custom footbeds from Sole or Arch Molds.

I've got a few basic but nice pairs on the go right now.

Need to order a pair soon though, possibly from TOMS. I can't find a decent place in Kingston to get shoes...

I wear dark blue ones. Urban Outfitters canvas shoes. They feel thing as hell, but I bought them in February when I realized that I was indoors 95% of the day and didn't need boots. They were $19, and I've worn them every day since. My shoes haven't been wet once, and there's no rips in them, as opposed to my $80-90 skate shoes that would rip in a matter of weeks. They get a little uncomfortable if you wear them for a long time, but dollar for dollar value, one of my all time best purchases.
