Rangers tanking in hopes that they see Ottawa in the playoffs

Two very soft goals let in by the future Vezina winner in the first three minutes of the game.

One came from Roman Hamrlik who has a wrist shot of about 35 MPH

Considering Ottawa is 3-1-0 against them this season, I doubt it

I sincerely doubt this is the case. I must say, the contrast of the uniforms in this game is pleasant.

It didn't occur to you he is trolling as Rangers is 7 points ahead of Boston?

EDIT: Nvm, Washington can pass Ottawa

If anything it was the other way around. I don't think we wanted to see Boston in the first round. We played the Rangers very well this season.

I bet NY would rather play the caps than the Sens.

Tanking is such a popular phenomenon that even the best team in the league wants in on the fun.

“I want us to win that trophy. I do,” Tortorella said. “I think that’s a part of our motivation. I’ll tell you that right now. You check off the division, you check off the conference. There’s two other checks that need to be done here. One is this Presidents’ Trophy and the next is the real deal. So we’re looking to get No. 3 here tonight.”

I doubt it since Ottawa has a better chance of eliminating the Rangers.

Note to self; words to retire from vocabulary:

- epic
- fail
- beast
- mode
- tanking

I think the Caps are just in beast mode right now. No tanking. Epic fail by the Rangers in the first five.

They can still win it even if they lose.

We just want the Devils to play the Caps rather than Panthers

Best case scenario is The Panthers if they lose today and Washington wins.
