Devils in 6; if they weren't in the Atlantic, they would have even more points. Dangerous team that could easily represent the east in the SCF.

I don't think Florida has the goaltending to match the Devils. Brodeur just turns into an animal during the playoffs.

You're probably right but if you're a suffering cats fan of an 11 year playoff drought you could care less. But hey, you know what's got even worse ratings this time of year? The 4 Canadian teams that didn't make the playoffs.

I think this will be a lot closer than people are expecting. Maybe 7 games.

Brodeur hasn't been an animal in the playoffs in a long time.

Pants in 5.
This ain't the same Brodeur from 2000. Plus, Devils tend to stink it up in the 1st round, or go on a long run. I see no run in them this year. Our defense matches up, it will get physical and Devils won't like getting bumped around in Panthers zone all series long.
Glad just to avoid the King...Panthers would have been done likely in 5 games vs Rags.

Agreed, we need him to be good though in order to win.

Devils in 6. I'll be rooting for the Panthers, but I can't see them getting past NJ. Brodeur is ridiculous, and the guns of the Devils will be a problem for Florida.

Anyways... Cats in 7... The Panthers have a great tendency to stick with teams and that can pay off in the playoffs, there's also no shootout in the playoffs..

You know the Devils still have more ROW than the Panthers right?
And just because you go to a shootout doesn't mean you will automatically lose the game in OT in the playoffs.
Anyway should be a good series can't wait!
