Congratulations to the Florida Panthers and their fans. It's been a hell of a season and I'm glad to see them not only make the playoffs, but take home their division title. It's been a long time coming. I think some kudos are in order considering how many people (including myself) didn't expect them to make it this season.

They owe it to the current points system. Under the old W-L-T, they would've been 32-33-17 for 81 points. The Caps would've been 38-36-8 for 84 points. Still would've made the playoffs, but not as division leader.
