This team does very well in 5 on 5 hockey - shootouts & 4v4... not so well.
While everyone loves to talk about the ROW column, look who is among the league leaders in fewest games lost in regulation.
There will be overtime hockey this series. Better switch from beer to coffee at that second intermission.
You are absolutely right! We will see 5v5 overtime! That can be our big advantage. Most will think we suck in the periods after regulation. But they may not even notice that there is 5v5 OT hockey. So basically just another period

Total goals 5v5. ( Havent found a stat where I can see goals 4v4. Though I think we dont scored too often on 4v4)

I still think we are a good 5v5 team just because we had some games where we really fall apart: Philly, Winnipeg, Boston, Tampa and didnt do anything offensively. So that number would shrink a bit

One empty net goal for Florida in the 4-3 win and 2 for the Devils in their 5-2 win including that Shorty.

1 PPGF - 1 SHGF (was an ENG)
To sum it up. It is even and we will likely see close ones in all games! Even some overtime.
Kris Versteeg did very well against the Devils this season!

I think it will be a huge factor in this series and one of our biggest advantages but it would really upset devils fans

No point in trying to argue, we might aswell call it a season if we read what's posted on the playoff boards.
I am a Ranger fan (living in Florida) but I will be watching the Florida Panthers throughout their playoff run. I would love to see you guys go far (as long as it's not against the Rangers ) and I'd love for you guys to beat the hell out of the Devils in the first round.
