Rangers in 5. Good luck, it is exciting to have someone new to play this year...or even being here for that matter!
Oh, we all know just how bad he is. Whenever we play a team that has an ex-Ranger on the team, they always score on us.

Best of luck though - I love games against non-Pittsburgh Atlantic division teams.

You're going to see a whole new level from this team. The playoffs are a different animal. 16 more wins. Lets go.

Oh no doubt there will be a whole new level of something. Whether or not it is a whole new level of suck or awesome has yet to be determined.

In order to win we need hank to be hank. I can't believe its playoff time, this is what we've been playing for all year long! Let's take this one game at a time!

I rarely am on the boards during games. Unfortunately I was tonight. Can half of the fan base on HF boards not hold their composure during 1 loss?

Just 1. I read posts saying Hank's gonna lead to our demise. Someone said something as irrational as "Expecting Hank's annual playoff choke"...

So let me get this straight, we still have the opportunity to win the Presidents trophy. If not, we're still the 1st overall seed in the Atlantic Division. We have been one of the most, if not the most, consistent team's in the league, and have by far and away the most regulation and ot wins in the league. That's not luck, luck is having the Panthers squeak into the playoffs with like the amount of overtime losses they have. We have a great core AND LETS NOT FORGET THE BEST ****ING GOALIE IN THE LEAGUE.

He's shown up for every playoff series we've ever had. A poor stretch for him is letting up 3 goals. He keeps us in every game, he also steals games for us. He has 1 bad game and half the board is about to light his jersey on fire...

I like our chances against Ottawa. We should have been 2-2 against them this season and all 3 losses occurred because of a lack of focus or desire to play them. That won't be the case for the playoffs, everyone will be amped up.

Stop complaining. If you're gonna say that the Rangers are gonna lose with no credible reason other than your gut then maybe you shouldn't be calling yourself a Rangers fan. This is the first time since the playoffs of Gomez/Drury's first year here. I thought we were cup contenders then, this year, with less star power, I'm confident in saying our team is structurally more sound and set to make a deeper run than that team... and we were a few referee calls away from moving onto the ECF that year.

Ironically he played his best hockey in the playoffs last year.

Likewise -- I'd root for Ottawa to beat up the rest of the east.

I do think the Rangers will win, in 6 games. LGR!

(Also, any Ranger fans going up to Ottawa for some games? Depending on the schedule, I will probably go to game 4 or 6)

More worried about our offensive inconsistency than the goalie and our defense...

Unfortunately. We also haven't won a home playoff game since.

Anyways, hoping for a good series. Huge fan of Callahan and Hank.
