Hello guys ! I've been around here for quite a long time now and I decided to suscribed after that incredible season. I'm from Quebec city but my team is the Phoenix Coyotes for like 6 years now and I've been through all this relocation stuff and Gretzky era with you guys. Tippett and Maloney have done and amazing job with this team and I truly believe our team could do some damage in the playoffs and that they won't be relocated at the end of the year. Same if that means that I won't have my favorite team coming into my town for next season. I'll struck around with you guys in the playoffs but unfortunetely I'm a bit too far from Phoenix to attend any of the home games but I'll surely be in front of my T.V to watch every game for sure.
GO COYOTES !
(P.S: Sorry for my not so good English, I'm a Quebecois just as Vermette !)

Why cynical? I doubt HF makes much money off this site, if any. They've got to pay the bills somehow.
$12 / yr seems like a bargain considering how much time I spend on this board.
Just cynical in the sense that they'd let the quality of the site dip for a few bucks, not that it's more than a marginal dip in quality or pocket change. And I don't know have a clue how much HF makes, but the overhead is relatively low, they have a ton of pageviews, and lots of ads. Given the cost of sponsorship, I'd guess they're making somewhere in the neighborhood of $12/user/year from ads.
Not sure its in jest but I am naive enough to take the compliment:
Coyotes fans are diehard, beard-growing
Quote:
Coyotes fans are still showing an extreme amount of support for their Pacific Division-winning hockey club and are taking their passion for the team to new levels. In fact, one might say that their passion for the postseason is "growing."
This is why the Coyotes organization is promoting their Beard a Thon. As long as the Coyotes remain in the playoffs, fans will maintain their beard to show support for Coyotes.
If the Coyotes do manage to find a way to stay and make it work in Phoenix, just imagine what winning a Stanley Cup would be like for them and their fans.
In light of the whole beard-a-thon thing, can we as fans demand that Tippett grow out his mustache again? Could even forget about the games, just have a winner-take-all mustache contest between him and Quenville.

$12 / yr seems like quite a lot considering how little time I spend on this forum. Yet I'm still glad I paid it. I go through phases, plenty of action over a few days, week, then nothing for a month or two.
New Coyotes stuff is out now including the Pacific Division Champs hats and tees.
I called the Coyotes Den just before 5 pm today and asked if they had those divisional tees yet; gal I spoke with said no but that they'll have them in stock Thursday... just in time for game 1!
