Exactly- let's hope Heatley isn't choking women who refuse to make out with him.

I'm relatively sure you don't have to worry about that with Heatley.

Perhaps he's finding out that unlike in Ottawa, most of the chicks at the local bars don't know who the hell he is.

Oh jeez I'm making fun of Heater already. It's all in good fun though.

Interesting thread. Makes me wonder if Habs fans only remember the Habs Latendresse and not the Wild one.

If I were a Habs fan, I wouldn't bother watching the Wild. We need to qualify him.

Why does Clutterbuck always get thrown into trade proposals?

No one wants Heatley, Koivu gets $6.75M for the next 6 years and who else do people from other teams know on the Wild?

Just another reason I hope we re-sign him. A healthy Lats will show all the haters that he's a great power forward.

Ick. He'd trade Yannick Weber and Rene Bourque for Lats and Clutterbuck, would he? I bet he would.

So apparently, Koivu is an injury prone player...

At least, he didn't miss as many games as this season. 1 season doesn't make a player "injury prone".

Because he's almost near the end of his contract and given he's a good 3rd liner that's hard to find...fans like that.

So what is an injury prone player?

Is Crosby an injury prone player? Is Latendresse? Is Bouchard?

Koivu has had nagging injuries since his days from his Finnish days.

Between 10/04 and 11/05/2005, missed 14 games due to knee injury.

1/26/2006 another knee injury

1/31/2006 went down with a foot bruise and then a month later the flu (not really an injury).

Between 11/17-1/11 of the 07-08 season, went down with another knee injury.

And then in 2009 he had another knee injury and arm injury.

in 2010-2011 had a hand injury.

in 2011-2012 had leg injuries and then he's had shoulder and upper body injuries.

So if that isn't injury prone, where he's having all these nagging injuries...what is injury prone?

I kinda tend to agree with TSK on this one. Koivu is injury prone, it's just the injuries he's been prone to haven't been as severe as guys like Crosby or Latandresse.

He is injury prone, but luckily not prone to concussions.

I really hope the Wild go after Parise. The Devils losing will only prompt him to not resign with the Devils. Let's go Rangers!

It's been said a million times before, yes the Wild will go after him. But, so will 15 other teams.

So, good to see Spurgeon is feeling good. Glad to see Heatley, Setoguchi, Scandella and Backstrom have all recovered from their surgeries.

Also, cya Mike Lundin.

Besides, with the Ranger's D... that should make for one heck of a matchup in the Finals vs the Kings! The unstoppable force vs the immovable object!
