My favorite moment was when Prosser (I think?) was talking to the camera on the plane and Lats comes walking by and says "Your salad sir".

In any case, I'm afraid that Granlund may very well dominate the prospects paintball game this year. You can't defeat a well trained Finnish soldier.

I liked the part where the F***ing All-Star and Nintendo DS (Devin Setoguchi) was getting to know their new home and stuff. Following prospects was nice too. Overall a great show, would love to see more.

You know their military training was like 2 weeks long, right?

Well I was joking but was it really only 2 weeks long? Could've sworn Koivu was there longer than that. I thought it was 6 months mandatory, but you could split it up if you wanted to instead of doing all 6 months at once.

6 months mandatory but athletes receive "special treatment". I believe Koivu spent like a month in total in barracks.

Actually, he shared some time with Mikael Granlund and Sami Vatanen as well, here are the "Brothers in Arms":

Needless to say, they don't receive even quarter of the **** that normal conscript does, but at least they were there.

It's unfair that the Ducks have both Fowler and Vatanen.

Koivu was 11 days, Granlund 16 days. It officially lasted 6 months but that's how many days they really were there.

Granlund's little brother is already there. started Monday. And got some vacation on the first week .

But Finnish military training is so effective that they didn't need more time there. Or something like that

WHAT?

Usually everyone is in for first two weeks before they get their first weekend off.

When your big brother does 'ilmaveivi' or 'lacrosse goal', you get some exemptions.

And usually everyone are, even in Urheilukoulu (Sport school) were all athletes go.

I've actually heard that while Mikael is genuinely nice, quiet guy who doesn't make a fuss of himself, Markus keeps running around telling everyone how his brother is "Kulta-Mikke" and how great hockey player he is. Don't know if it's true, just some rumors.

I don't know Markus too well, really can't say.. yet. If he's like that, it will probably come up with his time in army. Can update you if you want.

MG is a good kid. To put it moderately, he's way. Maybe not the brightest kid but he's not stupid, not at all. He's maybe a little quiet but only in sense that he has he's legs on the ground firmly.

I've heard something like that about Markus too. I heard he's used "Hi, I'm Markus Granlund, Mikael Granlund's brother. Do you know me?" As a pick-up line. But then again, it was one of those "X told that Y told that Z's sister told..." rumors. But who am I to judge anyway, he could just have a crooked sense of humor. Overdose of ****ing all-star, or what ever.

Re: Becoming Wild, I'm a little bit baffled by the way Russo is emphasizing the "web" part when he responds to questions about Becoming Wild.

i'm guessing the wild own the rights to the title and are cutting out the production cost and doing it with their own staff.

What a player - what a jersey!

They discontinued the best one!

Seriously, does anyone like the X-mas look of the red jersey?

There's already enough teams with red jerseys in the NHL. NOBODY is green!!! The Dallas Stars are the only ones that come to mind and they wear black at home. Make the Wild stand out. It seems every non-Wild fan likes the nice alternate green jersey we used the last two years.

That makes the 3rd sweater more special, so leave it at that.

The only sweater the Wild need to change is the white one. It looks completely out of place with the Wild's style.
