Keep the home jerseys but change the red to the same green we have on our 3rds, and make the current green parts wheat colored.

Make the 3rd our away jersey with wheat/green colors (primary wheat).

Use the early 2000s green jerseys as our 3rds.

Boom.

What if they swapped the red for the green on our main home sweaters?

Someone mock that up in paint or something. I'm too lazy to do it.

I don't see the attraction of home whites. I know a lot of leagues do it that way, and I think it looks bad in all of them. Who wants the visiting team to be the one that looks nice and is easier to keep track of?

That's a fair point. But going back to when they wore the whites at home, there were some Wild players who we wished would have blended in more and were tough to keep track of. Chouinard could have been dressed in white from head to toe, and he still stood out in a bad way.

11 days is nothing compared to the wait between free agency and pre-season games.

Yeah but at least with that long of a gap you have time to catch your breath and decompress and get ready for the upcoming season.

Well crap, I think it's finally starting to sink in. There's not gonna be a single hockey game on TV until at least the pre-season.

The draft is interesting, and then there's the first week of free agency which is always fun...then the off season doldrums hit!

Should have a good couple prospect scrimmages in July to watch though.

I'm personally pretty excited for the draft. Something usually goes down during the first round, not to mention I'm pretty anxious to see what we do with the #7 pick.

I plan on DVR'ing the draft, rushing through my softball doubleheader next Friday, and then throwing a frozen pizza in the oven and hitting play.

Betting odds for the 2013 Cup are online. Wild are tied for last at 75/1, along with Columbus and Long Island.

So you're saying there's a chance...

Started a new season of NHL 2k11, and Seto and Koivu are tearing the place UP! No wonder Seto is sought after in 99.9% of the HF trade proposals involving the Wild. Guy is money right now.

Crazy pants move.

1. Trade for Nash. 7th overall. Coyle. Bouchard. Lats. And Hackett.
2. Trade for Suter's rights. Cuma.
3. Wait for Parise to make free agency.

Parise-Koivu-Heatley
Nash-Granlund-Setoguchi
Clutter-Brodziak-Cullen
Kassian-Powe - whoever

Suter-Gilbert
Scandella-Spurgeon
Stoner-Kampfer/Prosser.

Rock on.

Hopefully next year we can see some consistency out of the disciplinary office and the refs. This year was an absolute joke for the Wild. The David Jones/Justin Falk hit? Cullen almost getting demolished. Spurgeron getting crushed. Bouchard getting crushed. Latendresse getting injured on a questionable hit. Johnson getting penalized for something idiotic that Iginla did.

There is absolutely no consistency from either office and I blame Shanny for that one. He makes the rules. He interprets them and hands out the fines and the suspensions. If he can't make up his ******* mind, then how can a ref, especially when they don't get video review?

Shanny: That's a suspension!
Ref: Got it!

Shanny: (same hit) That's not a suspension.
Ref: Uh...what? So I shouldn't call that as a 5 major? What?

Yeah, the Bouchard suspension was ridiculous as well. Spurgeon getting pounded was really more of an accident than intentional but should've been a major + a game nevertheless because elbowing is flat out not allowed, not even accidentally.

I really hope we see a change next year. I don't want our bottom 6 being our top 6 again next year because of stupid and reckless hits that Shanahan declares legal because Fletcher ****ed his wife after running over his dog or something.
