Not true at all. A 1/2/3 seed is that same seed up to and including the conference final.

The thing with finishing 8th in the East is that we're matched with the Rags, we can beat them, unlike Boston which just dominated us all reg season long.

Yeah, I've never seen much of the Rangers last year, but heard Callahan pretty much epitomizes the word Captain. What I would trade for him.

Not really related to finishing 8th, but now that the reg. season is over we quietly gained almost 2.4 million in cap space. The buyouts of Alfie, Cheecho & Emery are finally off the books.
