From your moderating team I just want to say thank you for all the banter this season. Thank you to Law and his amazing GDT's (Best of HF hands down). Thanks to E_Godard for running FGOTG again for us. Thank you to all those who provided info on our prospects around the world. To anyone I may have forgotten, thank you. Hopefully next year we see the playoffs. I know none of us are happy with the outcome of this season. Hopefully better days are ahead. Again, thank you all for making Isles HF a great place to posts and banter about our team. Look forward to continued conversations over the summer. Enjoy the NHL Playoffs as well. I just wanted to thank all of the posters here for a lively discussion.....I wanted to thank all of the Mods, even all of the former mods that have kept us all in check.
Thanks to Law for his awesome GDT's, all of them were great. And I did vote for you.
Let me say that I am very proud to be part of this community. It's not easy being an Isles fan and it's great to be able to come here and discuss my favorite team with others that love them as passionately and unconditionally as I do. We all have our views on all the different topics, it's great to be able to share them here. Whether we agree or disagree, information and knowledge is being exchanged. I think that's pretty neat.
That's pretty standard operating procedure around here.
I echo Sal's sentiments. I know it's hard to be on this board sometimes with the current state of the team and the unknown future, but I wouldn't want to be in any other fanbase.
Would like to thank all the mods for keeping this board sane. It's tough being an Islander fan these days, but posting here makes it easier. Great community over here, and I'm happy to be apart of it. Hopefully some day this team wakes up and we can finally enjoy some playoff hockey after all the years of frustration we've endured.
When I registered for HF 2 seasons ago it was completely spontaneous and I never thought I would even post. Surprisingly I am drawn to the site, mainly the GDTs way more then I ever thought. Thanks to everyone.
Thank you to all the great moderators and Isles fans who post on the boards!! Hopefully, one day we will be having a legitimate Stanley Cup playoffs contender conversation at this time of year that revolves around the Islanders, but for now we can only dream and talk draft!! Happy Easter and Passover to all who celebrate!!
Thanks mods, I enjoyed posting this season sans the outcome. Due to my work schedule this year I was able to watch 70+ games for the first time in over 10 years. On that note, I would like to thank Butch for turning me into an alcoholic. Have a nice summer.
