People just don't care because it's Dubnyk, a relatively obscure guy, and it was just lucky.
Now if it was Luongo, it would have been all skill

If it was Luongo you'd have been able to hear Hughson from space.

I can't think of a better save this season.

Wow. That save(post 32) may have been better than this one last year against Jokinen. And Higgins' look afterwards was pretty funny.

Dubnyk really finished the season strong. It'll be interesting to see how he plays next season when he's more likely to get the majority of starts.

There was another save Dubnyk made - (on Lapierre?). It was a high tip on the rush - couldn't believe it. Can't find a vid though.

I think you might be thinking of Booth's tip in the first?

As for the save, it was unbelievable, even Hughson and Simpson had no idea where the puck was. That was what made it for me, usually on paddle saves like that the puck gets deflected somewhere else (either over or to the side of the net), this was got deflected into his glove and he held on to allow no rebound.

Hughson would have gotten a Pierregasm if that was Luongo.

If you go to the game highlights on NHL.com the save on Booth is there. I thought that one was unbelievable as well.

he was pretty good last season too so I don't really see the danger of him regressing... what you do need though is another goalie who can go in and hold the fort if he gets into one of his slumps, and that can happen cause he's still a bit inconsistent.

Its not a coincidence that he started playing better when the games really did not matter anymore. Lets see how he plays next year and develops some consistency. When the pressure on, i am still not sold that Dubnyk is the answer.

He did have some really great highlight real saves this year though. Props to him for improving his game.

Nice. I can't figure out how he pushed off to get to his right? Or was it all just upper body?
