-Radulov will be Nashville's leading scorer in the series
-Who does NSH use Weber/Suter against? Pavel or Z's line? Given they play such massive minutes, they will probably see some of both.
-Faceoffs: These will be very important, as always. Gaustad hasn't wowed anyone in NSH, but his faceoff percentage is still very good. Can Pavel take them? When do we get Helm back?
-Penalties: NSH is heavily reliant on the PP to score. Can we stay out of the box? The key, as always, to that is two fold: puck possession, and quick breakouts. The Wings take penalties behind their net and along the boards when they get hemmed in on the forecheck. Even during their struggles, the Wings remain one of, if not the best precision passing team in the league. Against StL, their breakouts were very good. The Wings top-level passing can beat any forecheck. If the defenseman skate well and break out well, we're going to win the series.
-Depth scoring-We'd all like Helm to come back and re-establish the Helm-Miller-Cleary/Abs scoring touch they had for parts of December, January and February. Its not a coincidence that we were among the best teams in the league at that stretch.

This is one area where I feel pretty good. We've done well against them when on the PK, however there haven't been many penalties when we've played one another. Our PP has also had good success against them. If we can just break even on the specialty teams it will be a huge bonus.
What is CNBC? Is that different from the NBC Sports Network? I don't want to watch this game on CBC because CBC isn't an HD channel...
it's just another channel that is owned by nbc/comcast that they are going to use to air some of the playoff games this year, similar to what cbs does for march madness. i think normally it's a channel devoted to business/financial news
And i'm sure that fsd will be showing some of these games as well
I'm going to say Preds in 7 with all 7 games going to the home team.
The Wings have to win the special teams battle and with the sorry shape their PP has been in the past 4 months or so, I don't see them getting many past Rinne. That, and losing 3 points to the Devils and Hawks in the last 2 games cost them home ice. Not good.
I'm usually wrong anyway, so don't get too uptight about it...
Hopefully with Jersey, Pittsburgh and Chicago all in it, they'll find a reason to keep "Doc" and "Edzo" the hell away from Wings' broadcasts.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't CNBC mean they will just copy the Canadian feed/Local feed? Kinda like providing it as an extra game. Game 1, 2 and 5 are scheduled to CNBC.
Game 3 & 4 on the other hand are on NBC & NBC Sports. Game 3 clash with Pens-Flyers, but Game 4 it seems like we're pretty much left alone. So I'm hopeful there's no Doc & Edzo in all but that one.
Hopefully my Swedish provider will show the CBC feed anyway.

It's always hard for me to tell - I have CenterIce so sometimes I get both the Canadian and NBC/Versus broadcasts during the playoffs. Seems like they lose track of their blackouts at times during the playoffs, luckily...

I'm not a fan of Enzo but I do like Doc. he started out broadcasting in my town so i always appreciate hearing his stories about the Port Huron Flags lol, but i prefer Ken and Mickey over anyone else.
I like Doc. Edzo hates the Wings though and shouldn't be allowed to do Blackhawks games.
NBC should hire Gary Thorne and Bill Clement. Thorne does the Orioles and only Frozen Four and College Baseball for ESPN now and Clement is one of the Flyers color guys.
Them at the theme song was what was so great about ESPN Hockey, despite the fact that network don't care about the sport.
Red Wings in 6. I don't get why everyone is overestimating the Preds so much. This Wings team has proven that they can tango with the likes of the Pens, Canucks, and Rangers, and so I don't see why you'd be so afraid of the Preds. They're a good team, but they're not elite...
IMO, the top 5 (elite) teams in the league are:
1. Vancouver
2. Rangers
3. Pittsburgh
4. Boston
5. Detroit/St.Louis
preds are not part of this elite top 5 imo...whe nyou get to 6th you see other teams like Philly and New Jersey that would also give the preds a run for their money.
