Eberle should have been a lock for 80 points. Too bad Hallsy went down.

That already happened after last game..
I do wonder by how much the Oil Kings would beat the so called Oilers

That game was exactly the script that the refs wrote before the game started.

I can't believe this is what weve come to expect from our professional hockey team.
This kind of thing makes me
Wish I never started watching, but I feel like now that I'm hooked, there's no escape
a fitting speech that sums it up pretty good

Ya that puck slipping off Belangers stick for no reason as he was about to enter the offensive zone was a good summary of his entire season.

No they didn't. The Oilers logo is still at centre ice.

Yeah I heard those reports. No reason to keep the Oilers logo, none.

This team ain't out of the bottom 5 for a few years.
On another note, it was nice to see Horcoff earn his keep tonight ... $2.5 million per tooth lost.

Eberle missed 5 games as well (one game he only played a couple of shifts)

This game was a microcosm of our season.
Ludicrously good goaltending in the first
Spurts of offence in the second
Hopelessly lost in the third, with some Dubnyk added for taste.
Screwed by the refs througout, Horcoff/Belanger/Smyth finish the game, and our team looks like it couldn't beat the Oil Barons.
In short, **** it.

For some explicable, crazy reason, I actually have hope for next season. Perhaps is blind optimism, or maybe it's the rum talking.

Discuss.
First change HAS to be a coach.
Get rid of:
Smyth
Jones
Barker
Whitney
Khabby
Don't even get me started.

Forgive Jimmy. He gets a little giddy after a Canucks win.

they're not depressing in the slightest. In fact, they win a lot.

Could be worse...you could have spent thousands of dollars (like the poor season ticket holders) watching the Tambo s**t show for the last 3 years.

Perfect. I'd like to add ...
**** you Tambo for making just enough stupid moves to ensure we are bottom 5 for the foreseeable future.

Good job Tambo.
Of course yet another coach will take the fall.
At least the Oilers got a view of what a quality organization looks like.
This post might not go over very well on most nights but I think tonight is one of those reality nights.
But yeah, incompetent management will just extend contracts, be real proud on draft day, and fire the coaches out of the cannon again.
same old same old.
I'm sure it'll be much different with God as coach.
