One thing is for certain, none of us had better be fooled by a hot October start next year and I'd better not see any threads on the main board crowing about how the Oilers have turned a corner if they do have a good start.
For the the first time in my life, I'm actually not looking forward to next season. This annual failure is too much.

Also, did you guys know that the Canucks outshot the Oilers by a lot.
Seriously, Hughson, show your homerism some more. I'm ashamed that i used to like this guy as a commentator, he has become nothing but a fanboy now. Sad
The refs aren't even worth my posting space so that's it for that.
It's been great to see Dubie shut some people up. I really hope that he gets a shot at the #1 gig next year because he clearly plays better when he gets the bulk of the workload. It would be huge if we can scratch off goalie on our list of needs.
Also, i can't wait to see a new coach here next season whether it's Nelson or somebody else. You're a nice guy Tom but don't let the door hit you....well you know where.
Brutal way to end the season. Things I'd like to see for next season: Petry and RNH with a little more weight, Hall completely recovered from shoulder surgery, Whitney with a solid off-season training, another top 4 D, a big physical forward, and the same Dubnyk that we've seen lately.
This post might not go over very well on most nights but I think tonight is one of those reality nights.
But yeah, incompetent management will just extend contracts, be real proud on draft day, and fire the coaches out of the cannon again.
same old same old.
I'm sure it'll be much different with God as coach.
I wonder how many years of rebuild are required before KLowe/Tambo are gone?
I wonder how many coaches need to be fired before KLowe/Tambo are gone?
I wonder how many players must demand trades before KLowe/Tambo are gone?
Good god I am glad that season is over. One of the most painful ever. I don't know how much more I can take of this sacrificing entire years for a single player. The first two were almost bearable and necessary but this is starting to get annoying.
I wonder if we can sign the Canadian dive team after the olympics this year and put them on the 3rd line. Apparently to win in today's NHL you only have to be effective at diving, I mean look no further then your back to back Presidents Trophy winner for proof of that! This game and season was a joke from the officiating through to the management. If Tambo isn't let go I don't know if I can bare to watch next season.
I miss Hall. The team doesn't seem to have any fire without him and RNH wasn't the same after returning from injury. This team needs to start winning soon or that toxic environment is going to be back.

No - really? I'm surprised Hughson didn't mention it as its probably the most important thing for a team to win. In fact the true measure of a team's dominance HAS to be this vs. the silly Stanley Cup thingy.
