Goaltending. Lou and Schneider tag teamed this team to the presidents trophy.

Well it's only going to matter if the Canucks play the Rangers in the Finals. If not, it just makes losing more embarrassing (adds you to the ranks of the Capitals and Sharks, masters of the regular season year after year, but can't get it done in the playoffs).

Never got the impression this season that the Canucks would finish 1st this season. Congratulations.
Was rooting against them last year, but I hope the twins and Luongo win one more game in the playoffs than last year.

Thank you. Good luck to the Rangers in the playoffs as well.

Other than home ice advantage, everyone comes to the playoffs with a clean slate. Though I don't wanna throw a bucket of ice water over the win, but it's best for the team and its fans not to get too excited because of the accomplishments in the regular season.

I thought it would be a nice break from the usual trolling that plagues everything Vancouver.

Got to admit I was expecting Vancouver to have a bit more of a drop off points wise this season than they did.
Nice to see them rise to the occasion and get top spot. Now on to the playoffs and the real work begins.

Congratulations! I'm liking the Canucks more this season than last. I don't know why.. I cheered against them last year, but as long as they don't play SJ or CHI, I'll be cheering for them.

Having followed the Canucks since they entered the NHL and suffered through an NHL record FIFTEEN CONSECUTIVE LOSING SEASONS (1976-91) this definitely feels odd to have two consecutive seasons as the best team in the NHL during the regular season.
Now the real games begin.

That's an absolutely terrible attitude to take. Pressure means that you are good enough that people expect things from you. You don't run from it, you chase it.

Really surprises me they won it! I was surprised to read that the mightly Oilers of the 1980's only won it twice. Anyways....bring on the playoffs!

I love how all the haters say the President's Trophy means nothing. Its just like any other award, like the Hart or Rocket, except its a team effort. Plus, home-ice advantage in every round ain't too shabby either.
