I've heard the commercial, but never looked at the TV when it was on....it sounds like a beer commercial. "It's good to get together over something cold" + "hockey" = beer commercial featuring hockey. Doesn't have a Stanley Cup vibe, in my opinion.
I still think these were the most creative the NHL has done, although I believe they were used during the regular season.

Some teams and some players are getting them it seems. The Pens get a team one, but no player one at this time.

Sour grapes because now with the salary cap they can't just sit and wait for the contracts of players like Crosby & Malkin to expire so they can throw money at them. Must hurt to have a level playing field. The NHL loves Pittsburgh!
