It's a CONSPIRACY!

Bettman hates the Canucks!

Does anyone have the TV schedule yet? Are all games on FSW?

Right after the first penalty is called on the canucks during game 1.

No, it will happen as soon as Brown draws a penalty.

Although I think Vancouver has too much to overcome for the Kings, it seems as though some fans are forgetting just how improved the Kings are when comparing them to the 2010 team that took the Canucks to 6 games. Just look at the rosters for comparison:

Smyth-Kopitar-Simmonds (Williams was injured and only played in 3 games)
Richardson-Stoll-Brown
Modin-Handzus-Frolov
Clune-Halpern-Parse

Johnson-Doughty
Scuderi-Greene
O'Donnell-Jones

Quick-Ersberg

Scratches: Ivanans, Harrold, Williams (injured)

Now compare that to this year's roster and I would say that the games will be a bit more competitive this year:

Brown-Kopitar-Williams
King-Richards-Carter
Penner-Stoll-Lewis
Clifford-Fraser-Nolan

Scuderi-Doughty
Mitchell-Voynov
Martinez-Greene

Quick-Bernier

Scratches: Richardson, Westgarth, Drewiske

I would trade our 3rd line this year for the one we had that year.

Yep, but not the other 3. Our 4th line could have the impact of a typical 3rd line in the playoffs. They've been terrific.

The cool thing about this series is the following...

If the Canucks win, no big deal. Most people expect them to win and we've been through it before. However if the Kings win, it's going to be insane. One of those great sports David and Goliath moments.

True, however, those 2nd and 4th lines were terrible and the top line is significantly better with Smyth gone and a healthy Williams. The team depth has improved quite a bit over the span of two seasons.

I bet Penner is going to be on a short leash. If he doesn't do something noticeable in game 1 and the Kings lose, he is likely a healthy scratch for game 2 in favor of Richardson.

As would I, but not the rest of the roster.

Crazy how much the team has changed in two years.

I have to ignore the thread on the main board. My god, the 'holier than thou' attitude from Canucks fans makes my blood boil.

I would absolutely love if the Kings swept the series, just to hear the excuses from them.

We are a much stronger team then when we faced them in 2010 so I like our chances. I hope Richardson plays, he was a beast when we played then in 2010.

Hate the nucks and their fans, let's do this boys!

Halpern sighting!!!

That might have been the only thing he did in a Kings jersey, getting nailed by a huge hit 20 seconds before a goal

Everyone else in the whole NHL fan base hates the Canucks. It must feed Canucks fans' already big egos a lot.

I loved the King's support when the B's were playing the Nucks for the cup.

I recently visited the King's arena and found the fans there very cool.

GET THOSE NUCKS !!!!
