Lottery Win guessing

I actually don't see Columbus winning it this year, I see them getting EDM, NYI, or Toronto but don't see Montreal or Columbus winning it for some reason

WINNIPEG!!! Meh, it would be nice, I think it will be Montreal, but it won't matter because either way their taking Grigorenko, and Edmonton will take either Murray or Dumba, Columbus... I dunno who they'll take.

Oh my, imagine if Edmonton won. Would they take Yakupov when they desperately need help in other areas?

Tbh I think they should trade down. Pick up a young top 4 dman + Murray.

Imagine once Hall/RNH/Eberle/Yakupov would need new contracts

They will have to use minimum salaried dmen

Yes, we would. No reason to pass up on the best prospect since Crosby for need. We can fix our defense another way.

Are you calling Yakupov the best prospect since Crosby??? lol he's great and all, but Crosby is on a whole other level and Yakupov isn't any better than RNH,Hall,Stamkos,Tavares.

If Edmonton wins we will pick Yakupov. And if we don't I will be extremely upset.

I think your mistaking Yaks for MacKinnon.

Yakupov will be better than RNH and Hall (2 last 1st overalls). But not better than Tavares, Stammer, etc.

He will be around Eberles level.

Me2. No team deserves to go through a season like that and get done in by the lottery, especially when there is a clear cut #1.

IMO losing Yakupov would be worse than losing Nash.

Better than RNH and Hall but around Eberle's level? That doesn't really make sense.

They haven't said that at all. Yakupov isn't considered special in terms of past 1st overall picks. He's on par with the players i said.

Toronto.

They have the Winter Classic to play in, makes sense for Gary to rig it for them this year.

I want Columbus to get it next year, so they can take MacKinnon, or the following for Ho-Sang or Ekblad, Columbus does deserve a first overall pick, this year I didn't think was the right one because their not so good with Russians, Zherdev to Filatov, hate to include Yakupov in that category, wont matter if Montreal wins it or not cause either way their taking Grigorenko, Yakupov I have a feeling goes to NYI, cause Columbus trades down and takes Murray/Dumba, whoever Edmonton doesn't take, or they stay and take Yakupov. But one thing I know is Yakupov gets 20-50 points in his rookie season.

CBJ will not win, and draft Grigorenko. They will then win next years lottery, draft Mackinnon, and create a dynamic youth movement that saves the CBJ fan base.

The team to win this years lottery? I could see Montreal winning it. His name would look good on a Habs jersey.

As a Moose fan... I don't MacKinnon to go to CBJ lol.. CBJ'll win it this year and take Nail, make them a bit better so they don't get the chance at MacKinnon... They can have Monahan

If not Toronto than I'd like to see Columbus retain it or the Isles win it......Tavares and Yakupov together would definitely be a sight to see

Really anyone but the Habs, I wouldn't even mind if Edmonton won

i'm cheering for minnesota. They could use a bump, and columbus keeps 1st overall which is something the NHL really needs too.
