Not to knock Couture but he wasn't player of the year. Thornton was, hands down. But it's great that we have a player that makes that true of Couture, who had a great season.

Thornton arguably had his best season as a Shark in terms of work rate. I dunno, I'm an avid rugby fan/player and that's one of the biggest compliments you can give a player (having a high work rate).

Honestly he deserves it. He's not objective or especially knowledgeable, and if that applies and you don't even behave in a manner befitting a hometown reporter ... you deserve all the hate you get.
