Who's Coming up big for us in the playoffs? [Forwards Edition]

Who do you think will come up big for us in the playoffs that isn't the "usual suspect."

In other words, outside of Gabs, Henrik, Richards, Cally who's gonna be our top 3 forwards.

I went with AA. I really like how his game has progressed this year (maybe not so much on the scoreboard as of yet) but I got a feeling hes gonna be a .6 PPG player in the playoffs w/ some great play in all 3 zones.

From the past, and his recent play, it's gotta be Dubi

Maybe not offensively, but I think Prust will stand out.

He's been quiet for the past few weeks, but I think he'll play a great physical game, setting the tone, and chipping in with some timely goals.

Could be anyone, but I went with (a healthy) Stepan. Kid has ice in his veins and noes how to execute under pressure.

Awards:
The fact that Boyle and Dubinsky have started scoring a bit lately is amazingly encouraging.

I think Dubi and Boyle. They are well-suited for the physicality of the playoffs. Dubi has performed well in past playoffs.

Feds also has been good lately and he was one of our best players in last season's playoffs. That entire line is really coming on as of late.

I am not so sure about Stepan. He hasn't been playing well the past few weeks. Just like last year, it seems like he has more struggles with his skating as the season progresses. I can picture him getting snuffed out by some of the more physical teams.

I love how

A) When we traded a 3rd round pick for Boyle everyone was calling for his head...

B) Mid-season people wanted him off this team.

Now, he's a front runner for coming up BIG for us in the playoffs.

I would say a GREAT player to snag with a third round pick.

That's what I think. If Hagelin keeps improving and Dubinsky goes back to his 2010-11 next season, and Kreider proves competent on the third line, we will suddenly have our LW problems solved. This would also allow the team to move Anisimov back to third line center, making our center corps excellent as well.

While Boyle's goals dropped off this year, he actually got a career-high in assists.

AA has regressed all year so perhaps he finally does something.

Thinking Rupp will be huge for us for some reason.
