I'm not going to bash Larsson here, but "AINEC" is nonsense. Faulk is already a very solid, two-way, minute-munching defenseman.

If both players hit their potential Larsson will be the much better defensmen. The potential he has defensively if off the charts with his size, strength, intelligence and skill. I will go on record as saying Faulk will be the better fantasy defensmen.

Before Zidlicky got here, Larsson was probably our best dman as an 18/19 year old

I can't tell who is going to be the best player (nobody can in fact), but I think Larsson's potential is much higher than that of Faulk. Future is going to tell us if both will reach their full potential.

And Faulk is probably Carolina's best overall dman at the moment... which isn't saying much, but still.

Edit: I guess Pitkanen's better when he's on his game. But it's been a while.

He might still be if he gets a chance, Zidlicky doesn't impress me at all. Didn't really make any difference on the PP yesterday, Kovy was running the whole thing.

You should have seen our PP before Zidlicky got here. 3 stationary morons on the perimeter with Kovy trying to dangle through everyone by himself or playing catch at the point with the defenseman du jour. Zids has creativity and patience, and when he moves it forces the other players on the PP move as well. They're much more unpredictable.
