Rangers draw 1st blood in the series and Ovie don't look too happy about having to play D under Hunter's system. Maybe he will demade a trade.

Murphy and Brown for Ovie. Someone call up George Mcphee before Ovechkin catches fire!

After failing to get out of the 1st Round for Vancouver it now appears that Lunogo has asked for a trade. The pressure is too much for a goalie that may never regain the form he once had. The rumor going around is that he wants to head back to Florida but Florida Fans are saying no.

LOL

In the past I would have wanted Ovie but(pending a new owner of course) we can get quality offensive players to get the job done as a cost less than Ovie's Contract.

I guess you're right. It's just been too long since we've had a superstar, but clearly we don't need one

And people thought our series was going to be boring.

While I did not watch the game, I did notice that the Rags/Caps game had a whopping 32 combined sog.

In a very nasty game that saw one of St. Louis Plyers got injured, its 2-1 Kings late in the 3rd.

Penner gets the empty net goal and the Kings will win 3-1.

Coyotes should take notes on how to play late in the 3rd from the Kings there.

I'm amazed the refs didn't change the penalty time of this hit. Does King get suspended for this?

That home team W% sticks out quite a bit. Total opposite from the NBA where the series are predictable as hell.

He was the team's savior in the first.

It could have easily been 3 or 4-0 after 1, but he came up with some good saves.

On a side note, even the great Martin Brodeur gives up goals after playing the puck poorly.

Yeah. Should have been 3-2 flyers after a strange bounce. How weird would a flyers coyotes finals be?

All we would need to do is start a media buzz about the Flyers moving to Saskatchewan and Bryz would flounder.

Broduer looks pretty bad out there. Lots of turnovers. Just a shame!

Bryz looks like he has zero confidence.

I say games goes to 7. Both goalies look bad. Give edge to NJ with broduer's experience.

I really can't stand Doc Emerick. He seems like a nice guy, but my throat hurts just listening to him make a call.
