Funniest thing I read from the first two days was apparently some Penguin fans are wearing bear costumes after Bryzgalov admitted he was afraid of bears...

http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/blog/ey...-in-the-forest

...and then I thought, good lord, what if the Flyers end up playing the Bruins?

Not sure if you saw Jagr's response but it was pretty good:

Bryz is scared of bears. There were like 70 bears at the game! I wonder what would happen if he said he is scared of beautiful naked girls?!

Gonna be rooting for Panthers, but I think NJ is the obvious favorite in this series. Cats have Upshall, but they also have Jovo and Wolski.

LOL Flyers change on the fly right after the puck drop, and then Pens come back and score :15 into the game.

Bertuzzi and Weber just went early in Game 2. That's how you settle things. That's the code in the NHL.

For some reason my first impression was y'all were discussing that it was a bear in the front row that took out Krejic with the glass.

I feel kind of bad for the Bryz bear thing. It's not really an irrational fear if you've had a loved one attacked and killed by a bear.

Sometimes he would be better off keeping his mouth shut, though.

Goaltending is both the Pens and the Flyers weakness after 2 games with Philly now having a 2-0 lead heading back to Philly.

The Flyers are my second team, but even I'm surprised how that series has rolled out. The Penguins should be embarrassed, not only for losing both games at home and being down 0-2 in the series, but for blowing such big leads after the 1st. The Flyers have a lot of attack power, but that defensive corps should be better than what they have shown. If the Penguins get swept, does Bylsma get fired? I never thought that could happen this season, but damn.

After watching this series, I would love to pry Couturier or Schenn out of Philly, but I'm sure they're not available without something really nice coming back.

It is weird to root against pacific teams all year and then suddenly support them. Kings up by 1 right now.

Love how Hughson goes on proclaiming what an amazing save Tanev makes when he never did and Brown actually scored

17 seconds into the 2nd. NBC went to the game right after it happened.

Oh okay, that'll explain why I missed it then. I looked up in time to see Brown's goal, thought it was 2-0. When I looked it was 2-1.

Fun fact, Couturier was born in Phoenix. He was an absolute beast. I'd easily move Yandle for him.
