1. Playoffs
2. Rangers instead of Bruins (I do like our chances better... not saying we will win but at least a chance)
3. We pick 15th in the NHL draft instead of 16th or 17th (unless we make it to the Stanley Cup Finals)
anyone have any more?

We will pick 15th?
30 teams, 14 don't make it, next number is 15th right?
Conference final have their rank changed as well, that would be a 27-30th pick if we reach the eastern final
The positive about finish 8th is that we get to play the Rangers and win the first round. Hopefully Washington can beat the Bruins and allow us to face Florida in the second round.

That would be pretty awesome to face Florida in the second round of the playoffs!
As another positive, there is zero chance of Marchand taking one of our guys out at the knees, or Lucic blasting Anderson, since we aren't playing the Bruins. The Rangers are much less dirty than Boston, so we're less likely to see a Sens player getting injured.
No one expects the bottom seeds to really make an impact, so the kids can go out there, get some great playoff learning experience....and maybe even surprise the Rangers and get a few wins out of the series.

Not going to happen even if caps and Florida win their respective series. Teams get re-seeded after the first round so division winners don't get to necessarily keep their seed.
