Komisarek operated

http://rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/167686.html

Komisarek has been operated to the left hip (arthroscopie de la hanche, in french) by the same doctor that's following Lemieux, this week end in Pittsburgh, according to the article. They don't know how long he'll be out.

I don't think that news was posted

Anyone know if it's a serious injury/operation?

Too bad cause the Dogs could have used him. I had heard he was working out with a university team and was getting closer to being ready, but at least he's getting it taken care of. It's not like there's going to be any NHL this year from the looks of it, so it's not that bad aside from having to watch the Dogs struggle.

Hopefully with their 6 days off they work hard on their PP and a few other parts of the system cause something needs to be done.

Good to see Savard thinks so highly of Perezhogin, I was hoping they would have talked about his injury a bit more, as he still hasn't played since getting injured while with the Senior National Team.

RDs probably don't even remember there's a Perezhogin in our system.. they know nothing about hockey but what comes out of their news lines

Think I heard on the news he'd be out somewhere between 6-8 weeks.

What exactly are you talking about?

I'm guessing it's a misdirected response. For the life of me, I can't figure out what the hell he's talking about either. Doesn't help that his English is a little broken to begin with.

At least he gets his $1.1 mill (approx $575k after taxes).

If the season starts up in January, however, we'll be seeing Karl Dykhuis again.

I hope everything went well in the operation and wish a speedy recovery to Komi.

Fugazi, this is getting a little old isn't it? I don't think you're making anyone look like a fool but yourself on this one. Yes, montreal went a bit too far on that thread, but can't you get over it? People don't even know what you're talking about, drop it.
