Canucks have my support out in the west, I didnt really have a rooting interest in any team in the western conference but after reading all the support from Canucks fans I nowhave someone to pull for.
Lets say hypothetically that both do reach the finals. What would the start times for a finals with a East coast team vs West Coast? That would really suck if games started at 9 or 10pm for those of us in the Eastern Time zone, especially when you have to get up at 5am for work. Hopefully the NHL wouldn't not be dumb as MLB in this regards.

Likely 5pm PST like last year.
Can't hate Geno, so I'll be rooting for you guys outta the East.
I understand Canucks fans a whole hell of a lot more after this past week.
Pens-Canucks would be one hell of a final.
It gets really old after a couple of years, believe me. I don't even bother opening any threads with the words "Sedins" or "Luongo" in the title on the main board anymore. There's just no chance of an actual conversation.
Anyway, good luck against Philly. And please destroy Boston if you guys get the chance.
I think people hate our clubs because we're too damn good for their likeing.
That and the fact that we're also small market clubs who are perennial Cup contenders. The Canucks are on the extremely short (read: two) team list of clubs who I'll root for if the Pens get knocked out.
Thanks guys. Hard for me to say I'll be cheering for you guys in the west because there is a lot of interesting teams out there. St-Louis, LA and Nashville,Phoenix would be nice because they haven't had much/any success lately and I have a friend on the Blackhawks but if it came down to Detroit/Vancouver you would get my support.

The **** Sedin`s get on the mainboard is sickening. They had fine playoffs last year and all that`s talked about them is how they are "soft". Facing Norris winning defenseman and the best goaltender in the world might have something to do with it if the stats drop

Every series they were up against either a Norris defenceman, or a Vezina goalie (or both..and sometimes two Norris defenceman). Other than San Jose, of course, who they lit up for like 20 points in 5 games.
I'm cheering for Nashville and Vancouver in the West.
Ditto on that. I would actually like to see the two play each other even though I like both teams. I just think it would be a hell of a series.

And sure, I will jump on the Canucks bandwagon. Always was neutral on them in the past, but one good turn deserves another, and enjoy the skill of that team and the way it is built.
The VAN-NAH series last year was certainly most epic.
Hopefully Kes can return to Beastmode again, he was pure magic in that series.
I would like to see a goalie battle of Peks and Schnieder both in beast mode. If both could wall up I could see Vancouver trying to run and gun it and Nashville trying to constantly setup the blue line or AR to try and punch through...
Have we really become the Dallas Cowboys of the NHL?
really, are we that polarizing a franchise for the rest of the league? Not that I want to be confused with the Girls in any fashion, but think about it....
I would not say that exactly, as it is so for one chunk of the NHL, the opposite for another.
It is sort of weird, but it is a Canadian/American split it seems. For the life of me I am not sure why. The french canadian traditional connection maybe for some. Crosby certainly would be a reason for many Canadians. That goal in the Olympics was one of the great national pride moments for them all. But I am grasping in reality, not sure why the split, but it is pretty apparent.
Nope. We've won a playoff game in the past 15 years.

Eh, don't worry about it. Outside of this board all there is is Milbury spewing nonsense to appease a local radio audience and a couple of coaches playing games with the media to try and buy some calls in the playoffs.
