Someone find a video from when he did the same thing to Backstrom in December when the Hawks played the Wild.

Who would you take in the ShootOut in game 7 of the finals if hell froze over, Kane or Dats?

Datsyuk because if he isn't getting too fancy he usually buries. He's much more reliable than Kane I think. That being said, Kane probably has the tightest mitts of any player and could score on any goalie in any way. Both incredible stick handlers.

Yea I don't think I could really pick between the two if I had to.

kane was better in shootouts this season than he had been in the past and from memory, I'd say it had a lot to do with his willingness to do more stickhandling than in past years.

Kane always made me laugh in a "Monty" from Tiny Toon sort of way. He's a villain. He's the Joker to whoever is currently "Batman" in the NHL. And he's dirty as hell. He's the hockey player version of Eazy E from NWA.

If you didn't get those references it doesn't matter. He's the Jake the Snake Roberts of the WWF.

Kane is forever the villain, but he's so gdammn good! ]I haven't laughed in glee so much in my life in response to a youtube hockey replay in the last 5 years. Delicious! Especially given how much Kane admires Datsyuk. This was like a tribute to your professor type of move. Like student Kane was proposing a thesis for his Professor Datsyuk. Kane has outgrown the Grasshopper. Still mad with him with the cab incident, but when I think about it, I'd definitely get drunk with Kane in a cab and expect him to tip the cab guy accordingly this time around.

The truly significant thing about this goal is that Datsyuk tried the same thing the previous shot and missed.

Where's the 'Datsyuk's showboating costs Wings 2 points' thread?

Weird, amazing, confusing, and awesome were mixed into a blender and popped out as an HFboards post.

It didn't cost them two points, and it was actually a really nice move that he just missed on. Hudler and Bertuzzi skating straight in and shooting at nothing helped the loss just as much as Datsyuks.

I don't like that goal at all. He has good hands that's for sure, and I doubt every player could make dekes like that. However. Slowing down to a snail's pace and going at your leisure seems very unsporting and generally ******. A shootout should mimic the speed and intensity of a breakaway, not a stroll through the park.

I'm only kidding man. Giroux got something similar for something similar not long back.

Oh come on, get out of here. Kane plays within the rules and that's all that matters. He can skate however the **** he wants for the shootout and however he feels gives him the best shot to score.

As I am sure most hockey players on here will agree with, the goal on Howard is actually a pretty easy move. One most kids master by 10 years old, but it doesn't usually work past then because it is pretty easy to anticipate.

More a failure by Howard than a dirty dangle.

The one in Minny is MUCH better.
