Watching as much of the playoffs as I can... really interested in the Nashville-Detroit series. I always hop on Nashville's bandwagon when they make the playoffs, this year I think they could be a good darkhorse pick to come out of the West. As for the east, wouldn't be surprised to see Jersey make a run to the finals... could be Marty's last chance to add a fourth ring.
My local USHL team will be in the playoffs, so I've still got some live hockey to see. I'll also be watching the Cincinnati Reds with the $225 Million Man and the Indiana Pacers, who for once are entertaining to watch.
I'll watch the playoffs -- rooting for the Devils & the Predators--and hoping the Bruins and Rangers get knocked off early.
My oldest son is still playing, then has three different hockey camps to attend over the summer before his season starts again mid-August. Like I said, it never ends!
P.S. to the imposters posing as the Yankees the last few games: You're making the decision to not order Extra Innings quite easy on me right now.
I'll be following the Stanley Cup playoffs. I'm pulling for Phoenix (with their ownership situation and the constant threat of a move, the Yotes, like the Islanders are kind of the "********" of the NHL). I would also like to see Nashville go far. As an Islander fan, how can you not have an interest in the Rangers as well. I want them to be eliminated ASAP!!!
On the baseball side, I can usually rely on the Yankees, to bring me happiness. This year, I'm not so sure.
On May 5th, I'm getting married in Las Vegas. My brother's flying in from Portland and my sister and her kids from Long Island.
After the wedding, I'm off to either the Mojave desert, or Arizona to drop a Toyota out of a C-130 for a japanese Toyota commercial, and that should take me right up to the NHL Draft.

Congrats! My bro is getting married June 1st but were goin to the HHOF in a cpl weeks followed by 3 night of unspeakables in montreal for his bachelor party. Good thing those girls up there get free health care, cuz they're gonna need some antibiotics...wait what?
following the Sound tigers closely. rooting against the Flyers, Pens, and Rags. rooting for the Blues and the Senators.
non-hockey. going to spend some time at a friends fledgling Meditation retreat, helping get the garden going, transplanting trees, etc... may do survival camping in Northern Ontario/Yukon/NWT etc... may go to Yogaville and engage in organic farming, while meditating and doing yoga. essentially, anything that doesn't involve work, lol...
Watch the playoffs, play some golf, watch the Indians lose 90+ games. By July I'll be ready for Browns training camp and excited for the football season. That will last until the first week of October when the Browns find themselves 4 games out of first place in the AFC North. Just in time for another exciting season of Islanders hockey. Good thing about living in Vegas is I can distract myself with booze and gambling.

I'm considering going to Montreal around Christmas. I go to LI every year for a couple of weeks during the holiday and I usually do a little road trip while I'm there. So far I've been to Philly to see a Flyers game and to Boston to see a Bruins game. This year, hopefully I'll get to see the Canadiens.
Yankees baseball obviously....As for the Isles, sign some defenseman please! Hopefully we get lucky tomorrow, doubtful, but there is a chance. Can't wait for season 5 of Breaking Bad, best show on TV. Game of Thrones should be pretty awesome as well.
As for non-sports stuff, I recently moved to Rockville Centre and I am walking distance from town with all the bars/restaurants so I can see myself spending a ton of time in those parts throughout the summer.
Many a fine fuzzy nights at RJ Daniels (mostly back when it was Lily Flanigan's). Say hi to Mike and Ron (the owners) if you go.
Possibly buying Rangers playoff tickets so I can watch real hockey for once (and of course root against them).
I'm interested in seeing a Bridgeport playoff game, although that is more of a commitment in terms of travel. I saw them in 2001-02 when they made a run to the Calder Cup Finals against the Chicago Wolves, which was such a fun experience. Apparently the lights were set on a timer, so in the middle of play in overtime they went out. Wacky experience for even my standards as an Islanders fan. Of course DP was playing and lost.
I'd like to see Vancouver FINALLY win the Cup this year. Can't imagine what would happen to the city if the Canucks blew it back-to-back years
Aside from hockey activities, I'm praying for good surf from now until all of the kooks show up at the end of June.
Anyone watch Breaking Bad? That's supposed to come back in June or July sometime.
Absolutely. That and Boardwalk Empire are the best shows on TV.
Isn't season five the last season? I certainly hope not. I heard that it's supposed to be 16 episodes long divided up into two parts and possibly the last season.
This is a complete indictment on the Islanders ineptitude, but no Islanders means business as usual for me. There were plenty of times throughout the season where taking a nap trumped the Islander game. It used to never be like that.

There is no such thing as free health care.
Either you pay privately, your company has a plan for you and it's part of your 'pay package' or you pay the corresponding health plan taxes to the government plus 'extras' for certain treatments/operations.

dude, if you're going to 'hang' with Montreal women, YOU will probably need the antibiotics. they would duck a fog for $5... maybe even $3
