Yeah its more like 0%.

Cleary has looked like a train wreck almost the entire season.

If they could transplant Cleary's brain into a healthy body, he would be more effective than Franzen.

This blog has the twitter post from Craig Custance, where I assume the 50% thing is coming from.

This is frustrating. Cleary cannot skate, yet Babcock continues to play him. We have enough depth to survive without him. Why Cleary continues to get PK minutes is beyond me? Let the guy sit the rest of the playoffs. He needs surgery.

And to boot he'll probably be playing him on OT situations. Oh you know it.

Or even better, get in the time machine and go back to January when he could have gotten it fixed and possibly been 100% for the playoffs. That woulda been nice.

Cleary is not Steve Yzerman. They're not just automatically better when he's in the lineup even if he can't skate. All he's doing is dragging the team down when he's out there. Unfortunately, Babcock will keep throwing him out there and he'll keep gimping around until the thing falls off.

That's the thing. I think Babcock still thinks of him as a "if he says he can play, i'm playing him" type of guy.

Certain guys can play with injuries and still be a positive. Yzerman comes to mind. Cleary is NOT Yzerman. And hell, some guys who used to be able to play well in spite of injury might not in the current day NHL. The game is just too based around speed and we're only going to realize that more and more as the seasons go on. If your speed is hurt you'd better be Pavel McfreakinGretzkysyuk to keep on chuggin'. Sports are based around two central physical forces-speed and contact. Reduce one and the other increases. Take out the clutching, hooking, hitting, grabbing, and speed dominates.

Cleary cannot play for this team until he's completely healthy. There's no point in him bringing down whatever line he's on every shift he's out there.
