I'm gonna go with what I want to see, not what I think will happen:
WEST
(8) Los Angeles over (1) Vancouver in 6 games.
(2) St. Louis over (7) San Jose in 4 games.
(6) Chicago over (3) Phoenix in 5 games.

STANLEY CUP FINALS: (1) New York v (5) Detroit with New York in 6
1. At the start, pick the teams you think will meet in the Stanley Cup finals (3 points each), the team that will win the Cup (2 points), and number of games for four wins (2 points winning team only).
2. Each round, pick the winning team of each series and number of games for four wins. 2 points for correct team and 1 point for correct games (winning team only).
3. Stanley Cup round, points are doubled, same rules apply.
Maximum points are:
- 10 points for Stanley Cup winner, losing team, and number of games
- 24 points for first round (all eight teams plus games)
- 12 points for second round (all four teams plus games)
- 8 points for third round (both teams plus games)
- 6 points for Cup round (correct team plus games)
Highest points wins. Tiebreakers would be number of correct lower seed "upsets".

Gopher, same scoring?
Same scoring - 2 for a series win, bonus point for getting the games right. I'd rather use a tiebreaker of points in the SCF (and using the Conference Finals, etc. if needed) but if others like the lower seed upsets, that's cool too.

On the plus side, the unofficial mod bracket is twice as big this year.
Have you watched them play since Radulov joined them?
Kinda why I asked isn't it? Only watched highlights, thus why I was asking why you believe them so much, I mean 90% of those predicitions had Preds in the Final or winning it. Don't need your sneezy comment.
Thanks squidz, that kinda explains it. I can't believe their offense has clicked that well, sure they don't have bad players but they are not as good on paper as they are performing. Preds will become my 2nd favorite team to root for this PO!
Should actually do my own picks which I hope go better than last year.

PLEASE review the entries on the first page and let me know if there are any errors. I'll be able to go back and check if we find any down the road but this will speed things up as it's all on my spreadsheet and will be automated from here on out.

Thanks!
Also,
We need the following:
WILDhockeyfan - need SC final picks and games
Victorious Secret - need SC winner games
Thanks again Gopher for remembering
Looks like you accidentally a column in the second spreadsheet. Only 7 matchups.

Interesting. I'm the only one that picked a Stanley Cup Final shorter than 6 games.
There's only been 2 times the series was 5 games since (and including) Dallas won the cup. So that's only twice in twelve series. Of course, if you're one of those pattens people, it was in 2002 and 2007, which would make us "due" for one. The last 4 game final was in 1998.
Those was some good times in the mid-late 90s where almost every SCF ended in a sweep and Fox kept getting screwed out of showing the Cup being raised.
