I am with the Bruins and think they will eliminate the Caps in/under 6 games. I will follow Peverley and Seidenberg most. Pevs used to be my fav. Thrasher and is still my favourite player in the league. Was really sad when he left but it was the right decision for both sides. The Jets were a great team for Wheeler to develop his game and Peverley had the chance to make an impact on a contender which he did. Seidenberg as a german player, even though I'm actually not following the german guys most of the year. His younger brother Yannic plays for my hometown team, at least .
What do you think about your teams matchups? Are there players you follow specially and if so, why?
You have to consider that I don't have any relations to ANY franchises because of any geographic or other reasons at all, living in Germany Why not the Bruins? I am not that big of a fan of Seguin or Marchand, well yeah But I like Bergeron, Krejci, Seidenberg, Peverley, Thomas, Rask... I LOVED! Savard. He was my fav. player in the league before Peverley but well that turned out to be not so well with him :/ I like their marketing moves with their commercials. I like their style of playing.
I think Boston is a cool city in the States as an european
First round I'll be cheering for the Canucks in the East, and the Sens, Panthers and Bruins (a.k.a the anti-caps) Other than that, just beat the crap out of each other.
I think I will cheer for the Panthers over the Devils in the east. Those two are unfortunetly the only two teams in the east playoffs that I can stand. I the west I will cheer for the Preds and the Sharks.
Cheering for the Panthers would be like cheering for the oilers after the Jets were eliminated back in the day. Gross.
Panthers play pre-recorded fan cheers into their arena during the game to compensate for its funeral parlor atmosphere. Pretty tough to cheer for a team that their own fans can't even get proud about.
Chicago in the west to put a nail in the Coyotes coffin. Not sure if I'll be "cheering" for and eastern team but I'm looking forward to the pitt-phil bloodbath series.

I'm all over the place and will adjust my bandwagon loyalty accordingly. I have no idea who to cheer for in the west. I'm hoping that will change after watching a few of their games. I'm definitely for Boston beating the Caps though. I haven't watched hockey long enough, or non Jets related games for that matter, to have a hate on for Boston.
