Did Sutter promise Penner pancakes for breakfast if they win? He is working pretty hard.

One of his better games this year. Looking good.

Wow, anybody else see Kesler embarrass himself AGAIN. What a joke.

I'd really like the NHL to make some rule adjustment for slashes that break sticks.

Watching some of that crap makes me want to see the return of wooden sticks.

Yeah it's a pretty stupid rule.

Better team won the game tonight.

Hope they keep it rolling.

Refs didn't bite much on the diving which was nice to see.

When the game's second star is the goalie for the losing team and gives up three goals against you know the got seriously outplayed.

Really unprofessional conduct by whoever runs the Kings twitter.

Pathetic showing by the Canucks. If they don't win game 2, this could be a sweep for LA.

If Kesler worried as much about playing the game as he does diving, whining and looking for calls, Vancouver would be much better off.

People think Sid was bad as a teenager? Kesler is a grown man in his prime and carries on with this crap.

Watching the Pens / Flyers game really hammered home to me how far the Jets are from being truly competitive.

People talk about the Pens and Flyers and talk about all the offensive talent on their teams and they are right, those teams are fully stocked on high end talent.

But both of those teams also brought a level of intensity, and commitment to physical play that we didn't see in 82 games of the Jets.

Now granted it was the playoffs, and maybe the Jets would also have gotten themselves up for it and played more physical as well. But at the moment, I just couldn't see our roster being able to go out and continually lay the body like the Penguins did in the opening period.

Also, congrats to the Kings and Preds on their wins. Especially happy for the Preds as I want to see them go far. I wasn't really anti Vancouver before, but it's tough not to start leaning that way after watching all the ridiculous dives and antics.

Ah that twitter feed was great Thank you LA! Now win 3 more for the sweep!

Watching that game reminded me why I cannot cheer for Vancouver even though they are a Canadian team....whiners and divers...go Sens.

Kesler's "head snap" after he ran into Quick was priceless in a "what a d-bag" way. "Back, and to the left... back, and to the left..."

My adopted team after Winnipeg left for Arizona was Boston, so obviously last year I was happy they were in the SCF. Not really following the West I had no ill will towards Vancouver.

That was until they played and I saw how they played. By game 6 I didn't cheer when Boston scored, I shouted out "*** YOU!" to the Canucks each time Boston scored.

And it felt oh so good.

Honestly, if Winnipeg played hockey like the Canucks I'd have a very hard time cheering for them.
