Per Capgeek, Jay Barriball, a RFA with St. Louis, has re-signed to a 1 year 2-way deal worth $577,500. Barriball was a 7th round pick, 203rd overall of San Jose in 2006. He was traded to the Blues along with Ville Nieminen and 1st round pick (St. Louis took David Perron) for Bill Guerin.

Per Elite Prospects, Nick Ross, an UFA with Phoenix, has signed with EC Salzburg of Austria. Ross was a 1st round pick, 30th overall, of the Coyotes in 2007.

Per Katie Carrera, Washington has re-signed Zach Hamill, a RFA acquired from Boston for Chris Bourque, to a 1 year deal, terms undisclosed.

Sneep goes here, the other one can go into the AHL Signings thread on the AHL board.

Thanks for the update!

It's amazing how this guy keeps getting NHL contracts.

He got a PPG average of 0.04 in the NHL, 0.03 in the AHL, 0.02 in the ECHL, 0.02 in the QMJHL and 0.04 in the defunct IHL. Most goaltenders do better than that

http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=12128

I know that his job isn't to fill the opposing team's net but still...

---------------------------------
By the way, Sean Collins was apparently signed by the Rangers. (his name shows on their roster on NHL.com)

Bruins Sign Garnet Exelby and Lane MacDermid

I think it's all up to date now, let me know if anyone in the first two posts is showing as unsigned if they are, in fact, signed, or vice versa.

Poor X. He never was the same after all the concussions. He used to be the only guy on the Thrashers D that actually hit anyone.

Doesn't hurt to have veteran depth on our D. An upgrade over Mottau, will likely contend for the 7th spot. If not, another great addition to Providence.
Welcome to the club.

He'll be in Providence. Said to say but Mottau is a much better NHL player at this point.

31 year old guys who haven't played in the NHL in 3 seasons really aren't upgrades. But it makes Providence tougher, which is fine.

The Bruins continue to add depth, great work PC . This makes Providence stronger and adds depth for injuries

I went to school with Garnet we grew up just 20 mins out of Winnipeg,I was hoping with his home town connection he would have got a shot with the Jets I think we could use his toughness as a call up or 7th d-man.

Loved Exelby when he was on the Thrash, he was like Atlanta's version of Doug Murray.

I looked at the list and everything seems to be okay except for Yuri Alexandrov, he is signed for the upcoming season by SKA St. Petersburg (KHL)
