I'm sorta baffled by this one. Pickard's not a free agent, he still owes Nashville another year on his ELC, per capgeek and players can't sign to play overseas while under NHL contract. So, either Pickard is voiding the last year of his ELC and you'll see him go on waivers in the next few days, or Nashville is happy to have him get some better competition and will loan him to the Swedish team.
Loaned.
Will play with Pontus Aberg, another Nashville prospect.

It's a little like Radulov all over again, of course not nearly as extreme. I thought he was an RFA (without checking capgeek) but he wasn't apparently. If he indeed signed a contract, that wouldn't be legal. Nashville could very well have loaned him there. They still have Engren and Smith.
According to Tim Wharnsby of CBC, RFA Kyle Cumiskey who had previously been reported as signed with MoDo of Sweden, has re-signed with Anaheim to a 1 year 2-way contract.

Capgeek added some contract details (Including Mike Testwuide whose signing was announced way back on the 1st or 2nd of the month!). Among them is Tom Sestito, whose signing was previously unannounced. 1 year 2-way deal worth $605,000 at the NHL level.
However when everyone signs, they'll be at 51 (including two slide risk contracts)

so you can be at 50+ during the offseason as long as you have the slide risks to cover it.
What it could mean is that unless they lose a contract by the end of TC, they would HAVE to send dumba back, even if they didnt want to (though let's be honest, they probably are planning to unless he blows them away at TC).
take a look at dallas: 52 active contracts, but 8 of them are slide risks.
If contract space becomes an issue for the Wild, they should think about terminating Bjorn Krupp's contract, before thinking about making a trade.
It's quite an odd situation...Bjorn, the son of Uwe, came to the Wild's camp in 2009 as an invitee an earned a contract. However, after ending his junior stage in Belleville, he signed a contract in Germany. So, despite having strong north american roots and being under contract, Krupp never played with the Wild's organisation.
UFA Travis Turnbull, who played last year with Rochester of the AHL along with 3 games in the NHL with Buffalo, has signed with Dusseldorfer of Germany.
UFA Travis Ehrhardt, who played last year with Grand Rapids of the AHL while under contract to Detroit, has signed with TPS of Finland.
UFA Simon Danis-Papin, who played last year with Toledo of the ECHL and Rockford of the AHL while under contract to Chicago, has signed with Orlando of the ECHL.
Toronto UFA Mike Zigomanis re-signs with the Toronto Marlies of AHL.
Glad to keep him around, though wish the Leafs gave him an actual chance w the big club. Amazing faceoff guy.
Though guess if this is a AHL contract there goes that chance anyway
Per Elite Prospects, Josh Hennessy, who played last year for Providence of the AHL as well as 3 games with Boston in the NHL, has signed with Vityaz Chekhov of the KHL.
BUFFALO, N.Y. (August 2, 2012) – Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier today announced that the team has signed defenseman Alex Biega to a one-year, two-way contract.
Per Elite Prospects, Calgary D Clay Wilson has signed with Donbass Donetsk of the KHL. Wilson played with Abbotsford of the AHL, along with 5 games with Calgary. What's curious about this is that Wilson is on a 1-way deal next year with Calgary.

That is curious. Isn't he violating his contract with the Flames by signing overseas?
Who did Tom Sesito sign with? Whats the update with Kyle Cumiskey, will he play in Europe or Anaheim next year?
Sestito was a RFA, re-signed with Philly.
Cumiskey will play in Europe next year, the announcement about his contract this week was what an arbitrator ruled he would make when he returns. Cumiskey and his agent are trying to argue about his rights.
Unless he approached the Flames about playing overseas instead and the Flames agreed to let him do it and will waive him/buy him out/loan him out.

Flames GM Jay Feaster confirmed Wilson’s contract has been voided.
“In accordance with NHL rules and regulations, the Calgary Flames have terminated the contract of Clay Wilson,” Feaster said. “He is no longer on our reserve list.
Wilson logged a lot of ice-time for the AHL’s Heat last season but will try to prove he’s NHL-ready with a solid showing in Ukraine.
