I'm torn on that result; I don't like to see the #1 team get it so they aren't rewarded for being so bad. OTOH, 3 in a row is a bit ridiculous. If you can't improve your team enough to get out of the bottom 5 with two straight first overalls you don't deserve another!

At least we didn't drop though, now I just want someone above us to pick up Forsberg and I'll be overjoyed at anyone we're likely to pick at 7 unless we reach for someone totally unexpected instead of just trading down.

Ugh. I don't want a defensemen. Supercollapse was suppose to get us high enough to get a goal scorer.

I think if we dont swing a deal to move up, we should swing a deal and try to move down and pick mid first + late first.

Embarrassment is about right. If they bleep this up long term, well, that's some kind of unapproachable ineptitude.

Our D prospects are : Brodin........Seeler?
I know we haven't had a 'pure goal scorer' since gaborik, but it's not like D is a point of surplus for us.

Ya, maybe. Forgot about him. Based on everything I've read on him though, I just don't see him turning out to be anything but a reliable defenseman. While that's fine, I guess I'd rather look for high end play if they're taking a defenseman this highly.
