2012 (now 2013!) Training Camp/Pre-Season Thread
Might as well get this started with two pre-season games already announced.

Training camp will start in Boise, Idaho on September 21st.

Pre-Season Schedule:
Tuesday, September 25th - vs Minnesota (in Boise, Idaho) - 8:10 PM Central
Wednesday, September 26th - at Minnesota - 7:00 PM Central
Friday, September 28th - vs Florida (in San Antonio, Texas) - 7:30 PM Central
Saturday, September 29th - vs Florida - 7:00 PM Central
Monday, October 1st - at Colorado - 8:00 PM Central
Wednesday, October 3rd - vs St. Louis - 7:00 PM Central
Friday, October 5th - vs Colorado - 7:00 PM Central
Saturday, October 6th - at St. Louis - TBD

This is pretty obvious, but ....

You'd think they'd try to push that up a few days if they are going to 50 games.

Could we be getting meaningful practice reports from the Dallas Stars in just a few days? I'd say Wednesday at the absolute earliest.

Mirtle is saying Leafs are planning on camp starting on the 12th, and then the season starts on the 19th.

Realistically that's likely what we are looking at, but I'd hope they can get the language done sooner and the CBA ratified ASAP. For the fans, they need to get this show on the road sooner if possible.

Some have talked about camp starting as early as Wednesday, and I'm holding out hope for that.

Yes that's how it has been reported, but I believe both sides want the 50 games.

Even if they don't start until the 19th, IMO they make 50 games work.

Speculation as to the extra 2 forwards and defenseman?
