In the playoffs, the Sens faced off with the Philadelphia Flyers and were heavy underdogs, however, Lalime was unbeatable, as he allowed only two goals as Ottawa defeated the Flyers in five games. His GAA for the series was 0.40, and he had a .985 save percentage.
In the 2010 Eastern Conference Finals against the Montreal Canadiens, Michael Leighton allowed only seven goals in five games, posting three shutouts as the seventh-seeded Flyers advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals against his former team, the Chicago Blackhawks.
Didn't sweep but 3 shutouts in a series is pretty noteworthy.

So 3 shutouts and a 7-spot? That musta taken the luster off that at the time.. probably why I've never heard that before.

Just ask Marty Turco, 3 shutouts against the Canucks in 2007, and became the first goalie ever to get 3 shutouts in a series and lose. Now THAT's noteworthy.

From his wiki page, closest anyone has gotten.
edit: ^nvm lol.
I loved how Cechmanek got blamed for that series, even though he was 1-3 while only allowing 7 goals in the 3 losses.

I always hated Turco, and he had always been blamed for his teams troubles in the playoffs. He had some awful awful numbers. Then he has one of the best series performances ever and his team still fails.
