Landeskog and RNH don't make a difference here, because it is about rookies making an impact in the playoffs, and neither of them qualified. But I find it bizarre that they listed two Flyers third liners and not Henrique.
Just the fact that Couturier and Shaw, two of the hottest/most important rookies are listed as 4./5. is a joke. Matt Read as a deciding factor? I would never have thought that (even if I didn`t care for Henrique). Voynov at #2 is a good pick though.

Well technically Henrique's pretty much a third-liner now too. But yeah, going to ESPN for hockey analysis is like going to McDonald's to diet.
I don't get the Matt Read love though, playing third line on a deep team is a little different than being expected to produce on a top six line.
Burnside picks the Panthers in 7 "against all logic" by his own admission, LeBrun drops the Devils 4 spots in the power rankings during a winning streak, and now there is no acknowledgement of Henrique being an impact player for the Devils. Clearly ESPN disdains the Devils.
ESPN is just as bad as Bleacher Report for Hockey.
Honestly, where is there GOOD hockey coverage? Yahoo's writers are amateurish at best, and all the Canadian outlets I've tried are insanely biased against American teams.

I find that Yahoo is consistently the best, followed by TSN. Yahoo might be a bit amateurish, and Wyshynski seems to be a self-loathing Devils fan, but they generally treat us fairly and have coherent and relevant analysis on the hockey stories of the day.

He is self loathing in trying to seem like he doesn't have a Devils bias. It really gets annoying when he is still making Brodeur fat jokes. They are so annoying now because no one else does it anymore because they know its old. Those are as fresh as Sean Avery's NHL career is still viable
Yeah, Canadian teams had that run of 3 out of 4 Calder winners back in the early '90s. Fix was in. Oh, and none since. Oilers have never had a Calder winner. But don't let facts get in the way of the persecution complex. Oh Lawdy, we's being oppressed by the Canadian media!
