What bugs me is Pierre wrought that. It would get if it was Burnside, but come on Pierre. Of all the rookies listed, Adam has more points then all of them so no clue what Pierre was smoking when he complied this list.

How could the Titanic, made of iron, possibly be sunk by a giant ice cube?

It'll make it that much better when Henrique wins the Cup and tells all the "experts" to shove the Calder up their *****.

It was an opinion piece. It's not about who the best rookies were in the regular season, but who he thinks could have impact in the playoffs. Henrique faded down the stretch, and is playing on the third line. Agree or not, it's a valid opinion. If he said Henrique wasn't deserving of a Calder nom, different story. But that's not the story he wrote.

ESPNBA still writes about hockey?

If I ever run into Burnside on the street I would spit in his face.

Adam Henrique played a game last year! How can you call him a rookie? The article is right!

Seriously though they're gonna give it to the Nuge? No disrespect to the Nuge, but his team finished with the second worst record in the NHL this year. Oh yeah okay I know he was out for all those games, and Edmonton would have probably finished in 11th place had he not missed so many games. Oh well they win the draft lottery again this year, so next year it will go to whoever they pick up with that win in the lottery, and he will get the Calder Trophy too, and maybe if they both stay healthy the Oilers finish in uh I don't know 12th place maybe?

Landeskog didn't make the playoffs either, but I would rather see him get it. Colorado was in the toilet, and he was a big part in putting them on a big run to try to get back into the playoff picture.

Skinner got it last year, and the Canes didn't make the playoffs. Quite a few have gotten it when their team misses the playoffs. I don't even know who else was nominated last year though?

Landeskog should win the Calder, but that really doesn't have much to do with this topic. It is distressing that ESPN doesn't think Henrique will be an impact rookie.

I don't think ESPN even knows that Henrique exists, tbh.

They WOULD be *That* stupid.

Nah, they know who he is, they just don't think he is worth acknowledging. I hope he busts out with a performance like he had in the OHL playoffs and proves them wrong.

This has got to be a brain fart (he just forgot about Henrique). That's the only logical explanation I can see.

Adam Henrique is a Crosby Lite. Same style, same vision, both smart players.

Nah. It's been a constant "brain fart" ever since '95. ESPN doesn't like the Devils plus they hated that they broke up their "Mighty Ducks" theme in '03 when they went against their script on what should've happened.

The NHL doesn't like the Devils because they are in New Jersey and to them, New Jersey doesn't exist; only New York, Brah.
