Help in Nhl12

I found a problem in Nhl 12 that I need help resolving. I created a prospect, had the undrafted portion filled. Sent him to an OHL team. When I started a Be A GM mode, the prospect appeared with Anaheim's team roster.

Is this a glitch? did i do something wrong?

Did you affiliate him with Anaheim on the prospect creation screen? It might be the default--and you might need to change it to undrafted?

(this is from memory--I don't have the game in front of me).

Figured it out.

For some reason, when I changed the created players date of birth it locks the Pro Team option, and since Anaheim is the default, that is what gets locked in. So weird. Well here is something else they can fix with NHL 13.
