Not mad at all... they won't go anywhere without defense and goaltending. I really feel bad for Blue Jackets fans though.

Habs and Leafs fans are super mad and I like it.
I do feel bad for the Jackets though. They really could have used Yakupov...

Not mad at all. It's pretty funny. The only thing is that its pretty shameful that they're the worst or 2nd worst season after season.

The Oilers just officially made everyone forget about their Stanley Cups in the 80's. They are now the team that sucked so bad, for so long, that they got 3 first overall picks.

I am happy the Habs keep the 3rd pick. I am just furious for Columbus. It just isn't fair.

2012 will go down in nhl history where teams took advantage of the system and exposed some nhl rules that just dont work right. Add this one to the list.

now if only phoenix can win the cup in front of a non sold out crowd and cheer bettman.

Not mad, I feel sorry for Columbus for losing out a pick that the franchise really needed, and I pity Edmonton for being bad enough to get 3 first overalls in a row and the fact that they'll probably still be a lottery team next year, too.

I honestly feel bad for Columbus fans.

But the rage coming from some people on HF is just....awesome. I still have a ****-eating grin on my face.

I wouldn't say mad just annoyed. But if Murray falls to the Islanders(the Oilers were the most likely team to pick him, although decent chance Columbus does as well) it might be the best thing to happen for us.

How mad am I they won the lottery twice in non-consecutive years?

Not at all.

How mad am I the laws of probability upheld themselves?

Not at all.

love the hate that we are getting right now, it's honestly making me laugh. It's obviously all our fault that we got lucky and won the lottery.

By this logic Edmonton should move to Kansas City and trade away Hall/RNH/Yakupov for other players so they can be successful in 5 years.

Pretty much where I stand. Little annoyed that continuing incompetence is so rewarded, but its still incompetence so a lottery won't fix everything.

Mostly just feel sorry for Blue Jackets fans for having to watch the far and away worst team in the NHL this year without the fruits of it.

I'm mad, not because the Oilers won, but because Columbus can't win a damn thing no matter what it is.

Voted meh. Would have preferred the team deserving to get it but why should the Jackets miserable season not be extended by a couple days. For Columbus when things go bad they go really bad. Condolences to BJ fans and better luck next year, you deserve it.
