With the Flyers "depth" in goaltending throughout it's history, I gotta take Bernie Parent.

I'll take Clarkie!

My deepest apologies for being sooo late. My 1-yr old takes up alot of my time and I just don't have as much time to surf as I used two. Its been 2 days since I managed any computer time and I didn't know we had started. I'll check in more often. Sorry again.

Having back-to-back selections I will take:

Eric Lindros ... very surprised he's still available. & Mark Howe, the best defenseman in Flyers history.

Lindros still there because it is best team all time. Not the best team if we took their best season right? Howe I was hoping would last a little longer. That was a good pick.

with 697 career points as a Flyer, with my 2nd pick, I will take the FLYERS 2nd best center, Rick MacLeish!

Something wrong with this pick.

MacLeish was neither the rifle or a winger.

MacLeish was the Hawk, and a center.

Reggie Leach was the rifle and a winger.

Correct, not their all-time best season, but Lindros did play long enough and for long stretches spectacularly enough for the orange and black.

Kerr was a great, great goal scorer, but he wasn't a true power forward. He was more like LeClair, used his big body to hold off defenseman. He never used it to punish defenseman.

as a rule of thumb...if the player was originally in the Bruins Org...you'll have a helluva team.

In the 80's if you stood in from of the net and took the shots to get the goals you were power. It was not till later when LeClair and Co changed the role. Go back to the old Hockey News ( And I have almost evey issue since the 50's) and see when they starting talking power forwards. Because before that people like O'Rilley were just tough scores. And I am just picking about Lindros. Cheers
