Jersey Numbers
Now that we have the first overall selection in the 2012 draft
Assuming we pick Yakupov and he makes it out of training camp...what number will he wear?? Since 94 (his birth year) is taken by Smyth (who I hope resigns)...

Well he wears #10 now. Does Horc give that up?

I always had to fight to get #10 playing hockey since I was a defenceman and typically ended up stuck with #2 or #4 or the one year I got #42 which was pretty awesome. Anyways I'm a bit off topic, haha.

For whatever reason I had a mental flash of him in a (dark blue) Oilers #1 jersey as the show was just starting, before we even knew the pick was ours, lol.

I think Nuge,Hall,Yak should make their numbers: 1 (Hall), 0 (Nuge), 6 (Yak)
Edit: I know they can't make a players jersey 0

The kids point totals in their final year of junior hockey. And Yakupov's season prorated over a full year is 106 as well

Too soon to say but if we did draft Yakupov then yeah go with Bure's other number and pick 96.

Jus get rid of that disease Horcoff already, guy is absolutely useless. Send him down where he belongs in the Ahl. Give the Kid his number.
