Staple said that Hamonic was invited by Team Canada but declined for personal reasons.
Okposo is also playing for Team USA.

TSN usually shows the games here in Canada. Don't know if they webcast them or not.

That would be great, rumours over here say that the Islanders won't allow him to play.

I think that would be huge for Nino going into next season. Give him a little bit of confidence.
I know everyone wants him in the AHL next year, but looking at our roster right now I don't see them sending him down if he has a good TC.

ehh, id still rather have in in the ahl, and i would rather have ullstrom here because he is more ready for the nhl as far as his own projection goes
a nino-nelson-kabanov line would be pretty cool to see

Lets see how they look in camp next year. Set a top-6 or AHL rule like they did for Hamonic and see what happens.

They didn't let him play last season because even though he probably could have, he just came off a 7 month shoulder injury. it's called being safe(ie they actually probably could have had him play a bunch of games late in the season but what was the use risking injury again)

Would Parenteau had been asked if he weren't hurt?
No Moulson?
Does hockey canada think so little of our first liners?

I think Canada has only released 17 players on their roster, theres still room for others... I'm hoping Hamonic can sneak in

Can Moulson finally get the respect he really deserves and get a spot. 3 straight 30+ seasons, really rediculus.

Maybe he's not a good fit on the big ice.
