Well, I don't like to make huge generalizations, but go look on Stubhub, the more expensive the ticket, the likelier better playoff atmosphere. That said, all the atmospheres should be awesome.
All? Florida especially, though. I remember watching the first Hawks playoff game in 2009 and being really impressed, so I'm thinking the same type of thing will happen there.
That is of course if the fans aren't too busy protesting Ozzie Guillen...
After going to the Finals last season, i expect vancouver to be kind 'meh' in terms of loudness. it was like a library during the regular season. Expectations are so high for that team that the cheering won't be too crazy for round 1. I expect to see empty seats at Rogers Arena. Pretty darn quiet regular season home games.
I have to go with Nashville. Gotta love detroit fans singing some livin on a prayer.
Only the suits get tickets in Vancouver, which is why the majority of games are quiet unless we're leading. Not to mention they cheer when Luongo is pulled. I am ashamed of our fan base.
Canucks and Sens.... no one loves it more then Canadians
Haven't been to a Canucks playoff game have ya?
City is electric. Opening moments are insane. But during the game, it is quiet like Toronto. Lots of suits with seats. If we were talking outside the arena or within the city, youd have a strong case. A lot of real fans can't afford playoff tickets.
San Jose is typically very loud, but I don't think they'll have enough success this year for the fans to jump into full playoff mode before they're sent packing.
The two loudest in the East, imo, will be Philadelphia and Washington.
definitely not the canucks, lower bowl is full of suits and real fans (like me) can't afford ticket prices.
i'll go with nashville...they have an electric crowd, great fans over there. if winnipeg made it this year i believe they would have one of the loudest arenas also.
Seriously as a Preds fan since day one, and dealing with all the crap our franchise has dealt with ownership, stereotypes, lack of attention, re-location rumors (more like assumptions), fan base getting bashed by any and everyone, people clamoring that we don't deserve our team, the re-birth of success, etc....this thread is literally making my week. April is relatively young, it may be making my month.

Nashville, they have great and passionate fans there that really showed out to support their team last year.
Vancouver maybe after them, but they could take a leaf from Nashville's book and cheer the team on not just when they're winning. Bet Chicago, Detroit and New York will be fantastic too.

Yep this is pretty much spot on. Sadly I don't think Vancouver will be allowing the large 100,000+ gatherings to watch on big screens downtown this year, after what happened with the riot. Kind of sad that there won't be a good place for the average fan in Vancouver to watch the games either inside or outside the arena this year. Suits takin' up all the seats inside, rioters ruining the fun for all the normal, sane people outside. This is why they can't have nice things. Definitely a crappy situation.
