hahaha that would've been awesome: "Pierre if you want that stapler you're gonna have to reimburse the Canadiens for it".

Would have loved to hear what Molson told Gauthier when he fired him

Im sure he thanked him for all his hard work but explained that he felt a change was needed. Thats it.

I wonder if you would make this trade now: Bourque vs Cammalleri.
No trade nor prospect involved.

Classy move by Mr. Molson, once again he seems to actually be listening and trying to re-establish the Habs reputation as a classy organization and one that cares about its fans. It started last year with the letter about player safety.

As much as Cammalleri pissed me off over the last year he still was a Hab and there's no reason to burn bridges for no reason.

Score another victory for Mr. Future Prime Minister of Canada(or lobbyist for said future PM). With such mad skillz at garnering political favors, he must get into politics from being able to get rewarded from *****ing about what might be standard operating procedure around the league.

used to like that trade but now
we totally got ripped

Cammalleri + Karri Ramo + 5th round 2012 + Canadiens Jersey for
Rene Bourque + Patrick Holland + 2nd round 2013

Did Bourque kept his last game Flames jersey?

Although a small gesture, it shows that Geoff Molson is slowly working on bringing back the class in this organization, something gone missing under Gauthier.

Good to see and I can't wait for this summer with the announcement of the new GM, head coach, signature of Carey Price and PK Subban, the Draft and the UFA's... Finally something positive to look forward to!

I dont care about the salary.

It's nice that Molson sent Cammy back his jersey to Calgary. Too bad he didn't include Bourque as well.

Makes me happy when I hear our owners do stuff like this. Pure class. Also applies to Gillett who was a classy man himself.

^ He would still be owner if it wasn't for the dumb venture with Liverpool FC (with Tom Hicks).

What's good is that Geoff Molson didn't release a statement about it. If Cammy didn't tweet about it, nobody would have known, which means Molson didn't do this as a public PR move.

Koivu not even getting a phone call after giving his entire career to a retard of a GM and being one year short of being the longest tenured captain of the Habs = Nothing wrong here

Cammalleri asked to pay for a jersy = OMGWTFBBQ!! Unclassy abortion disaster!!

Everything was wrong about how the Habs let Koivu go

Doesn't change that they were cheap towards Cammalleri as well.

Koivu and Gainey did speak. Besides, as of this point, I don't consider it about Gauthier or Gainey anymore. It was a classy gesture by our owner, that's the story now. The old crew is gone, not sure why we rehash it everyday.
